Thrifty Friday

Friday is our thrift shopping day (most of the time). Aside from our treasure hunting, we did find a nice little Mexican restaurant outside of downtown Fort Worth, Dos Molina’s. The tortillas were delicious and we’d like to go back on another Thrifty Friday soon. After stopping on the side of 28th Street to check out a not-so yard sale and having lunch, we went to a couple of our usual thrift stores. Usually when we’re on the hunt, we buy vintage dresses and skirts. Unfortunately we didn’t hit much gold in that area. We did, however, acquire quite a bit of outerwear. We bought cardigans, jackets, and boleros. Winter just started, so we’ll be warm. Here’s what we wore out on the town.

Outfit Overview:

Shirt: Threadless
Skirt: Thrifted
Leggings: Gift from Aliens (unknown)
Shoes: American Rag
Hair clip: Etsy
Bracelet: Ebay (CHEAP CHEAP CHEAP!)

Outfit Overview:

Cardigan: Thrifted
Tank top: WalMart (Classy)
Skirt: Old Navy
Tights: Banana Republic
Shoes: Converse
Necklace: Handmade by Amanda Majors
Monkey Pin: Gifted twice (twice the love)

BONUS:

We went up to Tarrant County College NE to attend a short class. We changed for that, of course.
