This weekend was extremely eventful. There was karaoke, a missing shoe, cocktails, bad dancing, glitter bombs, big girl bras, designer shoes, Korean food, beans, pole dancing, jumping dogs, biting (ouch, Kaliko!), friends, DJ’s, LOUD music, Korean boy bands, penis cakes, Yogurtland, Asian markets, cute accessories, and several other rather inappropriate things. When we do birthdays, we go hard. We’re currently suffering from a dance hangover. Unfortunately, we didn’t get quality photos of our outfits. But, we do have a little somethin’ from Saturday night. We went out to karaoke to celebrate my (Surge) 23rd birthday.
I purchased myself some Jeffrey Campbell boots to celebrate being old (grandmama Surge).
EXCUSE THE TERRIBLE LIGHTING AND EVEN WORSE QUALITY OF THE CAMERA. We were rushing out the door to be late to karaoke. We’re late everywhere.
Sunday night, on the way to The Church. Kaliko, Carolyn, and Julienne pumpin’ gas.
Why, Kaliko? After this photo, she almost fell and knocked all of the blankets off of the end cap. Graceful.
Sunday, all of the Korean food was had. NOMNOMNOM. Apparently, I couldn’t take a second to take a photo when the food was pretty. I took a picture of the aftermath. MOM.
Sorbet and yogurt at Yogurtland!
We drank some Hite at one of the Korean restaurants that we visited this weekend right after we said that we wouldn’t drink (because of our hangover). I guess these things happen.

Thanks to all of the people that hung out with us this weekend. Also, a very special shout out to Adrian. Thank you for throwing up on Kaliko’s arm and blacking out. It was hilarious.
Since I’m so terrible at posting (I blame Kalik0), I’m going to just commence dumping photos of a couple outfits!
When you can’t find anything to do on a Saturday night, there’s always something going on in K-town. We invited out our friend Sam and went to Family Karaoke. There was an hour wait, so we decided to try out a small bar down the street called Haru. This place is small, but it’s great to lounge at. The bartender was warm and friendly (and a tad drunk). We had a couple shots and food and we absolutely can’t wait to go back! Other than that, it was a typical night at karaoke. It’s always nice to sing out your stress with friends. On to the outfits!!
Shorts: Abercrombie and Fitch
Tights: Work issued (HAH)
Accessories: Ebay, gifted

Ahhh! Surge reporting for duty! It’s been a while since our last post, but I’d been on vacation and work trips. Unfortunately, Kaliko can’t figure out WordPress. We’ll probably have to work on that one. But on the positive end, we have had several shopping trips and have gotten several wonderful pieces. There are so many fun things to come! Commencing quick photo dump!
And from a recent trip to The Church, we’d like all of you (if you don’t already know him) to meet Ian. We really love this guy ^__^
Christmas was a day of family dinners and present opening for most, but a night full of dancing and random adventuring for us! We went to our usual club, The Church, and celebrated the holiday with good drinks and even better music. It was a little bit too crowded for us, but we still had a good time. We did, however, meet new friends and ended up on an adventure, following them across town to a small park, where we hung out until realizing that it was near 4 in the morning. Definitely a successful night. We decided to dress for summer to offset the Winter cold.

I had a meeting in Dallas on Wednesday morning, so I spent the rest of the day with Kaliko. We hit some Dallas thrift stores (way more expensive than Fort Worth ) and then North Park Mall for some much-needed people watching and food. We decided that this season was the season for tights and socks, so we purchased a few pairs of socks. I don’t know what it is, but I’ve taken a liking to scrunched crew socks over tights/leggings. You’ll probably see much more of that as it gets colder (gotta protect the feet!). Here’s the fierce shopping wear!
Pants: thrifted (AND ONLY A DOLLAR)
Shirt: Terp2It (destroyed by yours truly)
Tights: Walmart 😉
I also took Kaliko out to K-town in Dallas to do a little drinking after her 21st. We went to Bar A and Family Karaoke. I must say that Bar A is actually pretty neat. It’s got a very laid back atmosphere and you get free popcorn!
HAPPY BIRTHDAY, KALIKO! I LOVE YOUR FACE!
